About Us
The Congregation of the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King, with the Generalate in Grottaferrata, a suburb of Rome, Italy, has nine provinces and a region with over 900 Sisters involved in ministries in thirteen countries on four continents: Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Austria, Germany and Switzerland in Europe; Egypt, RD Congo and Uganda in Africa; Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay in South America, and the United States in North America.

Run with the Nuns is a 5K race through the natural hills and picturesque scenery of Mount Assisi and the Mount Assisi Convent in Lemont.

Mount Assisi Center and Campus
We welcome you to our campus!
The Mount Assisi Center and Campus with over 60 acres of outdoor space hosts various sports’ teams for practice throughout the year. The outdoor campus is comprised of soccer fields, a softball field, and open space. The gym can accommodate 1 or 2 volleyball nets and contains a basketball court with 4 additional side baskets.
